Another tribute to the common man. Florida producer Khris Audio returns with the sequel to his 2014 debut project Superhero Vol. 1. With a shorter tracklist and less artists featured, the focus was to provide a “tighter” album with a more cohesive feel. Like his initial release, every track on Superhero Vol. 2 was produced by Audio, with features from a number of local Florida acts, as well as guest verses from industry vets Wordsworth, Mickey Factz, and K-Hill.

There is a certain self-growth that he has noticed since that first album. “The last few years have been a blessing. The relationships I’ve been able to build with so many artists since Superhero Vol. 1 has allowed me to carry that chemistry over in to the art. In terms of concept, the general idea of ‘heroes in society’ is constant. It only makes sense that that would carry over sonically as well”. There is no doubt that Audio’s style of sample-forward production falls under the “niche” categorization within Hip Hop. But consistently putting out that style will be just a small part of keeping the subgenre alive.
